Tell us about your massage school and other trainings:

In 2011, I immersed in a full time massage therapy program at Lexington Healing Arts Academy in Lexington, Kentucky.

From 2010- 2021, I ventured into workshops about birth and death, and how to fulfill the doula role. The Matrona, schooling created by Whapio and her assistants, has been the backbone of my birth companion education and practice. Sitting with Ram Dass and circles of international elders has been foundational and continues to inspire me around end of life care and deathing support, and wild enough ~ how to live life.

From 2014-2015 I completed a 200 hour Ashtanga lineage yoga school teacher training. I also studied and practiced biodynamic cranio sacral therapy with mentors and Upledger Institute’s level 1 and 2 cranio sacral lessons.

Throughout 2015 I practiced Constellation Therapy facilitation with a committed group and teacher.

In 2016, I travelled to Thailand and studied Thai Massage and more with two amazing Thai practitioners. Even though I am not offering traditional floor sessions, I do incorporate Thai cosmology and technique into my practice.

While my chosen teachers have been monumental to my learning, so have my clients. A special nod to experience, specifically to pain and love. What a journey!

What bodywork are you currently studying?

Switching gears slowly from a previously planned midwifery apprenticeship, to re-entering and recommitting to the field of bodywork massage in the past two years; I find that animism has filled most of my experiential study and focus of late.

I am currently tracking the needs of our people and where that intersects with my interests and passions- looking forward to incoming clarity about modalities and lineages to study and incorporate into my practice.

What do you want people to know about their body?

Life can be trusted, goodbyes can be sacred. Pain is an indicator, what is it's message? Innate wisdom is within, but can be activated by outside phenomenon. Let it. Seek it. Move with it. Change. Flow.

What do you want people to know about health and wellness?

Waters of human body and waters of earth are connected. Individuals are in relation to everything. How are you relating with yourself, and with other ? Are you able to give and receive critique ? Are you able to laugh at the cosmic joke and see the truth amongst the trickery ?

What is your favorite system in the body?

Depends on the day! I’m constantly in awe of the body’s systems and functions.
Right now, the endocrine system and all of its hormonal messengers and messages fascinate me.
